莎翁十四行诗：ShallIcomparetheetoaSummersday

众所周知，莎士比亚是文艺复兴时期剧伟大的作家与诗人，他被誉为“人类文学奥林匹斯山上的宙斯”。今天来分享莎翁的一首著名的十四行诗，希望能够为你的炎炎夏日带来一些夏日的浪漫。

Shall I compare thee to a Summer"s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of Maie,
And summers lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm"d,
And every faire from faire some-time declines,
By chance, or natures changing course vntrim"d:
But thy eternall Summer shall not fade,

十四行诗是欧洲一种格律严谨的抒情诗体，彼特拉克的十四行诗形式整齐，每首分成两部分：前一部分由两段四行诗组成，后一部分由两段三行诗组成，即按四、四、三、三编排。
后来莎士比亚改变了彼特拉克的格式，发展成为，由三段四行和一副对句组成，即按四、四、四、二编排，每行诗句有10个抑扬格音节。以形象生动、结构巧妙、音乐性强、起承转合自如为特色，常常在最后一幅对句中概括内容，点明主题。（来自百度百科）
我们今天先来看这首诗的第一部分：
Shall I compare thee to a Summer"s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of Maie,
And summers lease hath all too short a date:
能否将你比作夏天？
你胜过夏的可爱与温柔。
狂风摇落五月的花蕾，
夏天的时光总是太短。
第一部分出现了一些早期现代英语，比如“thee”和"thou" 是“you”的不同形式，“thou”是单数的主格“你”，“thee”是单数的宾格形式，还有物主形容词“thy”和"thine"。不过现代英语已经不做区分。
诗的第一节大意是诗人突发奇想，将爱人比作夏天，却又觉得爱人太过完美，夏天这一喻体难以呈现他/她的美好。我们可以透过这个奇妙的比喻来窥见爱情的浪漫，为何要将他/她和夏天比拟？为何不是羞赧的春天，丰盈的秋天，或者沉寂的冬天？我想，可能是因为爱情在莎翁的笔下一贯是轰轰烈烈的，肆情奔放的，夏天代表着张扬与热烈，恰如爱情的美好。
