Laura Story 是来自美国的福音歌手兼词曲作者，曾经是一名福音摇滚乐队的贝斯手.《Blessings》获得2012年第54届格莱美大奖。

2008年， Laura的丈夫得了脑瘤并留下了残疾，有时完全不认识她。这对于新婚不久的laura，生活瞬间失去了方向……她慢慢在试炼中，找到了安慰和力量，并写下了这首歌，这或许就叫创伤的“升华”吧！
